The house
A home, not a hotel
Ben & B’s Stay sits in Pooyamkutty, where the river runs low through the forest and the roads climb slowly into the Western Ghats. The house is built the way houses here have always been built — tiled roof, carved pillars, dark teak panelling and a verandah wide enough to spend a whole afternoon on.
Inside there are three bedrooms and four bathrooms, an equipped kitchen and a dining area for the group to eat together. Outside there is a lawn, a garden, a shaded sit-out and parking at the entrance.
You can take a single room or the whole property. Either way you are staying in someone’s home, with a host who lives in the area and knows it well.
